I did my best to capture the complex themes and character dynamics in each of these three famous comics.
Next week I will be examining Hagar, The Wizard of Id, Garfield and, if we have time… FRED BASSETT.
There are a few other comics in the paper that I won’t be doing but are nevertheless shit, such as Swamp and Insanity Streak. There are also 2 comics that I won’t be doing because they are generally pretty good: Calvin & Hobbes and Herman.
In the meantime, let me leave you with a picture of a horse in a chemical suit playing Super Nintendo with the famous musician, Beck!
Peace out.

I want to see:
“Hi Charlie Brown! You’re sure looking good for someone who hasn’t been drawn in 10 years.”
“Thanks!”
“I didn’t mean it you blockhead!”
“I has a sad.”
Haha, I actually didn’t mind Peanuts because I never got the impression it was trying to be too hard to be funny, and it wasn’t as formulaic as a lot of the others.
But I agree it’d still be fun to have a dig at it!
You almost nailed the Phantom but in your version the action unfolds a little too quickly. Shoot it with a tranquiliser dart.
ZITS is okay because Jeremy drives a VW Kombi. It might be best if you don’t rekindle the Fred vs Wild Horse wars…
It wasn’t a war, it was a massacre!
